Bloglovin' & Currently

I know I have been MIA, but I am looking forward to getting this blog up and running again this summer. In preparation for doing so, I've made the switch over to Bloglovin and am following all of my blogs there. Come on by and follow me on Bloglovin, just click the pic below.

To get June started off right, I'm linking up with Farley for her June Currently. I love this link up, click on my Currently to head over to her blog and see the others who have joined up.

My Three Vacay Essentials

1) Switch flops- A friend of mine has these, and I have been talking about buying some. They are so darn cute and since it's summer I can wear them every day!

2) Sun Block- Well I live in Florida and have made the mistake before of going without, won't do that again.

3) My IPhone- I've got to keep up my Candy Crush addiction.

That's it for now. Can't wait to get back into blogging after next week!

  1. Hey Stacy, just wondering if the end of Google Reader means that we can't follow blogs in our Blogger Reading List. Do you know? Is Bloglovin' much better than using the list in Blogger? Just curious about the necessity of making the switch. Thanks!

  2. I believe that is exactly what it means. When we visit a blog and the follow it through our google account it shows up in our reading list. That is what I think will go. I like bloglovin. They have an iPhone app that I really like.

  5. followed you from Farley's Currently. I was wondering if as a reading coach you miss being a classroom teacher. I recently got my reading specialist credential and was considering this option.

    1. Hi Pauline,
Yes, I do miss the classroom. I was a Reading Specialist from 2004-2007 and then returned to the classroom so much more prepared. In 2011 I became a Reading Coach. I do miss it and do think I will return at some point. But the experience and learning I do in the reading positions is so helpful when back in the classroom. I've learned so much from other coaches and teachers. I say go for it! There are always going to be classrooms to return to!

  6. Found you through currently. I LOVE to read during the summer. In fact, I just finished my first book and it only took three days. I love the Janet Evanovich books. If you haven't read her Stephanie Plum series, you should. The first one is called One for the Money. There was a movie, but the book was a million times better.

I am excited to be your newest follower!

    1. I will have to check that series out. I usually get hooked on an author and then read all of their books.

  12. I found your blog through the Florida Link up too. I agree with Mandelina in the comment above mine! I'm on level 273 on Candy Crush. I've probably spent my entire salary from this year on that silly game.
